Print Images
Brought along on the evening no later than 6:50pm to be registered.

Late entries may not be accepted.



Digital Images
Are submitted well in advance of the meeting, usually ten (10) days prior to the appraisal night.

An email indicating the looming deadline is always sent to request submissions.

Late entries will not be accepted.

Images are projected onto a screen using our colour calibrated projector.

Print Image Rules

Running order
Appraisal evenings are punctual due to needing to get through and judge everybody's print and digital images.

Members take their seats and the room is darkened. Digital images are projected and each photograph is appraised in an educational and informative way.

We take a tea break before looking at prints, which are hung on the clubs print display boards.

Again the judge, who will be a WAPJA judge or photographic identity, provides a commentary of each print.

At the end of the evening we all help to clean the kitchen up and clear away the chairs. Many hands make light work.
