The Committee and fellow members would like to take this opportunity to welcome you as a new member of the Mandurah Photography Club.

To aid your introduction to the Club we have put together the following information pack which hopefully you will find informative and helpful in getting the most out of your club membership. 

This website contains a wide range of information to help you along your photography journey & you are welcome to browse through the various pages to do your research.

Club Purpose

The Club’s purpose is

· To educate members on photography skills.

· To assist members to develop their photography skills from beginner level to the highest level.

· To improve your skills through competition judication review and comment.

· To be a social club, and help develop friendships through meetings, and photographic outings, including occasional weekends away

Club Meetings

We meet at 95A Park Rd, Mandurah, which is the Mandurah Lions Club venue.

On the second Wednesday of the month, 6.30pm for 7pm, we hold a photography image appraisal, competition and judging evening.

On the fourth Wednesday of the month, 6.30pm, we hold a photography workshop and education evening.

We communicate with you through:

· A Newsletter

Which sets out news on a monthly basis

· Facebook

We have a private group in Facebook called Mandurah Photography Club. Please contact membership@mandurahphotography.club if you have not received an invite to join this Facebook group. We share a lot of things informally such as invitations to a photo shoot, technical queries, hints, and comments on posted images.

· Periodic Announcements

These will come to you from time to time, from the Club Secretary

· Text Messages

These are principally to act as reminders.

Photography Competitions

The second Wednesday of the month is a photography appraisal night, guided by external judges. This is a great learning experience.

Images can be submitted as prints or digitally, from your camera or your smartphone. The rules are set out in our website By-Law 001.

You can enter up to four images in any month/or 3 digital max. The list of monthly topics is on our website.

Fees

Subscriptions for a full year are family $100, adult $60, student under 18 - $25.

There is a club meeting door charge of $5 for hall hire and a prize.
