Frequently Asked Questions

Can I try out the club before I join?

Of course. Come along to a monthly meeting, workshop or Photo-walk to try us out.

We encourage new members of all ages to join the club. Join as a single member or as a family, and enjoy the benefits of being part of a group of inspiring photographers.

I'm a bit of a Newbie, will I be able to enter images?

Mandurah Photography Club is for photography enthusiasts that live in the Mandurah area. Our members include beginners and experienced photographers.

We enjoy outings ranging from a couple of hours to a weekend away, but we develop our skills and enthusiasm from our workshops and image appraisal evenings, using club members' and other expert photographers.

I only have a Smart Phone can I still join?

New members are always welcome and we particularly encourage anyone interested in improving their photography skills no matter what equipment they use. In fact the club has a category of judging just for new members & smart phones.

We meet on the Second Wednesday of each month for image appraisal/judging and on the fourth Wednesday for training workshops.

There is a fee of $5 for Judging Evenings and $10.00 for Workshops.
